How It All Started
As a life-long dog & cat mama, I understand how hard it can be to find someone to care for your dog. How do you find someone that you trust to care for your four footed fur baby and make sure they’re safe, happy and comfortable while you’re away?
When I lived in out of state for several years, I lived with this struggle for a while. I tried various options for for my sensitive, older pooch, hoping to find the ideal fit for her. I wanted her to be happy and safe while I was away.
Who Knew?
Years ago, I had no idea that boarding or daycare at the pet sitters home was actually an option for my dogs. It’s been around for a while but many people didn’t realize until the last couple of years that dog boarding & daycare at the pet care providers home was even possible. If you have a gentle dog or a senior, this is an especially nice option. They will benefit from a peaceful, warm home environment and experience much less stress than they would in a commercial dog care facility.
Fast Forward! Here We Are Now
With encouragement & help from my husband, we started on the road to owning our own dog boarding service. It’s been a labor of love and I’m so glad that we embarked on this journey. Those furry faces are so precious! Who wouldn’t love seeing that every day? Today, Bark at the Moon Pet Sitting is consistently earning rave reviews from area pet parents. We’re so grateful to the clients that took a leap of faith and allowed us to care for a very important member of their family. We hope that you will too.
